DENVER, COLORADO. (June 25, 2015). Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts, the third generation, family-owned and operated Denver florist, announced its summer flower and gift collection has arrived within its Denver flower shop as well as through its user-friendly floral online store.
In commenting on the summer flower collection, President John Paul Veldkamp said, “Our summer flowers have arrived over the last few weeks from our domestic and international flower farm partners, delivering some of the freshest premium flowers available. We have an array of summer favorites that our floral design team has been working with to create new summer floral designs to showcase these beautiful flowers in a range of styles and combinations. There is something for every budget, taste, and occasion, including summer weddings, summer events, summer birthdays, and summer celebrations.”
Highlights from the summer collection include:
· Coastal Garden is a refreshing display of yellow roses, blue hydrangea, and lime green carnations hand arranged in a reusable Mason jar.
· The Denver Dazzler is a bright display of alstromeria, roses, chrysanthemums, gerberas and snapdragons in a glass vase.
· Summer Brights offers yellow roses, Asiatic lilies, orange dahlias, alstromeria, and yellow daisy spray Viking chrysanthemums in a cylinder vase.
· The Strawberry Floral Margarita is a fun flower arrangement with roses, asters, carnations and disanthus in a large acrylic margarita glass. There are many other cocktail flower arrangements, including martini-themed and sangria-themed summer flower arrangements in different styles of acrylic drinking glasses.
· Take Me Out to the Ballgame is a new gift basket with great treats, including peanuts, Cracker Jacks, pistachios, pretzels, root beer and even a baseball arranged within a wicker basket.
· The summer collection also includes seasonal green plants, succulents, and other plants as well as hanging garden baskets and blooming summer plants from the Denver florist’s onsite garden center.
