DENVER, COLORADO. (December 9, 2014). Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts, the third generation, family-owned and operated Denver florist, announced that their customer showroom has been made over for the holiday season to showcase the holiday cheer of the season with Christmas flower arrangements, Christmas centerpieces, traditional items like poinsettia plants and wreaths, and many types of holiday gift ideas like gift baskets, collectibles, stuffed animals, balloons and greeting cards.
In commenting on the special holiday season, General Manager John Paul Veldkamp said, “We love this time of year because we get to see so many more of our customers who enjoy stopping in to see all the Christmas décor and shop for great gifts. The next few weeks will be very busy as orders are already coming in for gifts and floral décor for Christmas parties, events, and even weddings. To celebrate, we have put many items in our holiday collection on sale.”
Veldkamp added, “Of course, customers can also shop online through our virtual holiday shop that offers a wide range of décor and gifts to chose from, including flower arrangements, centerpieces, wreaths and garlands, and poinsettia plants. Many of the items are also on sale online, which provides a convenient way to place orders quickly and on the go. The Denver florist is also a drop-off location for the Toys-for-Tots fundraiser. To encourage customers to donate for those in need, the Denver florist will give a $5 gift certificate to each person that brings in a new unwrapped toy for the fundraiser now through December 15th. Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts has participated in this special fundraiser for years because of its focus on helping the local community, especially during the holidays.
