DENVER, COLORADO. (September 27, 2014). Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts, the third generation, family-owned and operated Denver florist, announced that they have added some unique, sports-themed flower arrangements to their collection, including roses and other flower varieties to represent various local and national sports teams.
In commenting on the game day flower collection, General Manager John Paul Veldkamp said, “Our floral design team is very creative and many of us are huge sports fans. With football season underway and many viewing parties planned, we thought it would be a great idea to create these sports flower arrangements to give to the host or send to a friend who shares your love of the game.”
Veldkamp added, “One of our first floral designs was a combination of blue and orange roses to cheer on the Denver Broncos, our city’s football team. From there, we decided it would be fun to offer other similar color-themed game day arrangements so that our customers could choose to send their loved ones a flower arrangement that matched their favorite teams.” A few of their customers preferred arrangements include “The Game Day Cupcake”, “The Perfect Play Bouquet”, and “The Game Winner Bouquet”.
The game day floral collection can also be customized with a range of containers and vases. If these sports-themed flower arrangements do not include a desired team, the Denver florist’s team of floral designers can create a flower arrangement for a customer that represents their favorite football, hockey, baseball or basketball team.
The game day collection is available for local and national delivery and can be ordered online, by phone, or by visiting the store's customer showroom.
